The transformer station for Horns Rev II arrived on barge "Viking Barge 6" assisted by T/B "Union Diamond".
The Transformer station consists of three modules (transformer, jacket and topside) with a total weight of approx. 2350 tonnes.
Heavy lift crane Matador 3 will transport each module to Horns Rev with modules hanging in hook and M/V Sea Power will perform sea bed fastening of jacket.
Niels Winther & Co. acted as agent and heavy lift coordinators and our stevedore company Esdan stevedoring supervised by our forman Chris Johannesen performed all lifts from barge to qauy and qauy to Matador 3.
