HM Frederik, The Danish Crown Prince, pushed the button officially starting the power supply from Horns Rev II to Danish consumers and Niels Winther & Co. was among the VIP guests invited where also the Director of DONG Energy, Ander Eldrup, and the Statsminister (Premier Minister) Mr. Rasmussen held the opening speaches.
All contractors and most sub contractors were also present to wish Horns Rev II "happy wind".
Niels Winther & Co. was represented by Managing Director Henrik Otto Jensen and Agency Manager Jacob Kjærgaard.
11 turbines still needs to be fully installed but the official opening was today.
